- FDA published the QMSR final rule on 2 February with a two-year runway; device quality teams started clause-by-clause comparisons against ISO 13485.
- The FY2025 H-1B registration used beneficiary-centric selection for the first time, and registrations fell sharply from the prior year's record.
- AI and machine learning projects in pharma moved from experiments to governed programmes, creating demand for data engineers who could document models and data lineage.
